If you are a serious football player ranging in age from 8-20 years old then this is the program for you. Follow SST’s proven training method for football players and expect only one thing:

Why are we doing this? Well, SST has trained numerous CFL and NFL stars such as Jesse Lumsden, Ray Mariuz, Kevin Eiben, Mike Pearson and Mike O’Shea with the same proven methods we will use with the each player!
SST has provided speed Consultant work for the Cincinnati Bengals! In addition the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger Cats are both Clients of SST!
Just this past winter SST was ranked in the top 15 for speed development in NORTH AMERICA!

SST’s High Performance Football Academy is for all football players who want to achieve one thing: RESULTS!

What will each player receive over the duration of this training program?
Athletes can train up to 4 workouts per week at an SST facility consisting of strength training, Olympic lifting, plyometrics and what SST athletes know as Functional Fridays!
What are functional Fridays or the Blitz workout? It consists of athletes being put through a grueling workout using unusual implement training such as 800lb tractor tires, car pushing and pulling, sledgehammer work and many more unorthodox training methods which will convert to more power and functional strength on the field!
SST’s Radical Blitz camp has been featured on CFL Snap on the Score network, Fox Sports in Buffalo and Ticats TV!

Players will be put through unorthodox and unconventional, but highly effective, training modalities such as:
§ Tire Flipping – to develop the posterior chain (hamstrings and glutes).
§ this chain of muscles contributes about 60% of the power to sprinting speed
§ Sledgehammer Work – to enhance core and grip strength
§ Power Sled Training – used to boost power and lateral speed
§ Log Lifting – a great way to become OVERALL STRONG!
§ Farmers Walks – true functional core development unlike crunches!
§ Car Pushing – RAW POWER!
§ Wheelbarrow Walking – Control and strength
§ Sandbag Tossing – a unique method to develop your energy system and grip strength
§ Specific Energy system training for football
§ Each recruit will work on the Football tread sled for power and energy system development

All SST HPFA players will attend SST Lightning speed camps designed specifically to make you a better football player.
SST’s Lightning Camp is broken down into three levels:
Level 1 – Walk Before You Run!
Emphasis is placed on Sprinting Form, Plyometrics and Agility Drills.
Level 2- Speed & Strength!
Developed through the use of Power Sled Training and High Intensity Plyometrics.
Level 3 – Shock the Nervous System!
Power Sled Training, Plyometrics, and Overspeed Training
Level 4- Jump and Move like a cat!
Plyometrics and agility trianing
WHAT TO EXPECT
§ Learn the proper Mechanics of Sprinting to decrease your 40 yard dash time
§ Improve on-field Speed, Power & Agility
§ Learn proper starting techniques for the 40-yard dash
§ Identification and correction of weaknesses when running the 40-yard dash
§ Decrease your 40 time by 2/10 (2 tenths) using proper technique for maximum sprinting power
§ Proper mechanics for agility training
It is not uncommon for SST athletes to drop up to 5 tenths in only 8 weeks! Many players have used this camp as a springboard for a University scholarship.

What’s next, you ask? Well, remember you are still working out four times per week in conjunction with these camps.

SST will also assess each individual prior to their start date of the HPFA. What does the assessment entail?
- Body composition (body fat levels)
- Chin up rep test (upper body strength test)
- Dynamic and static vertical jump (power vs. strength levels)
- Standing long jump (horizontal power)
- 40 yard dash time (electronically and hand held)
- 10 yard dash time
- Penta jump (Horizontal power and Stretch Shortening Cycle)
- Single leg hops (lower body strength)
- Pro shuttle (lateral speed)
- Klatt Test (shows weaknesses in the lower body)
- Overhead squat test (strength and dynamic flexibility)
- Muscular flexibility assessment
- For experienced athletes 1 rep Max bench test and other upper body structural balance tests
Individualized results will be provided for each athlete.
Can there possibly be more? Yes there is! Each recruit will have their own Biosignature Nutritional Protocol provided by SST. SST athletes who follow their Biosignature protocol see astounding results. Many of SST’s football athletes have gained up to 20lbs of lean mass in only 12 short weeks! Athletes with a higher percentage of body fat have witnessed a loss of 20lbs of BODY FAT in only 12 short weeks!

Every athlete will have their own customized Home Flexibility Program. After each recruit is assessed through SST’s muscular flexibility testing they will be provided specific stretches to correct any length tension discrepancies. Each recruit will receive an active isolated stretch rope and a foam roller to eliminate tension in specific muscle regions
